Description
Pale brown or brown, sometimes with brown splotches. Spiral ribs fine. Aperture little angulate or round.

Locality
Japan: Kashimanada, Mouth of Tokyo Bay in 250m-300m, Off Hachijo island in 510m.

Remarks
The shell with axial ribs and brown splotches has been called by the name of B. felis shikamai. However, recently, it has not distinguished. B. felis uncommonly becomes white.
