Daphnella itonis

Description
Shell thin, body whorl slightly inflated. Resembles Daphnella mitrellaformis, but constriction of bottom weak.

Locality
Japan: Mouth of Tokyo Bay in 250m-300m, Sagami Bay, Off Shima, Wakayama, Kochi.

Remarks
Daphnella itonis had been rarely caught from Wakayama and Koch. However, this shell was found also in Tokyo Bay recently. D. itonis was described as a new species recently though this shell was known for about 50 years.
